One Person Killed in Deadly Pedestrian Accident on South Union Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 6, 2021) One individual was fatally hit by vehicle on South Union Avenue in Bakersfield last Saturday night.

The tragic collision occurred on South Union Avenue, just south of Pacheco Avenue, sometime after 10:50 p.m. on October 2.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a black car was seen heading north on South Union Avenue following the collision.

Sadly the victim, whose identity has not been revealed, was declared dead at the scene.

At this point, police have not provided any information on the suspect or the car.

Meantime, this fatal accident is still under investigation.
