Hit-and-Run Crash on 10th Street Left One Man Dead

SANTA MONICA, CA (November 16, 2021) – A pedestrian hit-and-run crash on 10th Street claimed the life of an unidentified man on Saturday.

The incident happened in the area of 10th Street and Pico Boulevard, around 8 p.m. on November 13.

According to reports, a white Dodge Challenger struck the man and fled the scene without stopping. Afterwards, a second vehicle struck the victim.

The driver of the second vehicle reported the accident to the authorities and remained to cooperate with the investigations.

Responding officers pronounced the man dead the scene. Police described the man to be in his 50s to 60s.

At this time, police said it is unknown whether the victim walked inside or outside the crosswalk prior the crash.
