Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Driver near Century Boulevard in Inglewood

INGLEWOOD, CA (April 30, 2021) – A pedestrian died in a fatal collision on 405 Freeway, near Century Boulevard Wednesday morning.

According to police, the fatal crash occurred just after 5:00 a.m., April 28. For reasons not yet known, an unknown vehicle struck a pedestrian along the road.

Shortly after the incident, the person died at the scene. However, authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim.

Events leading to the crash are still unknown. Furthermore, if anyone has seen or witnessed the accident, please contact the local police.

The surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has since reopened since the fatal collision on 405 Freeway. It is currently unknown whether or not drugs or alcohol were involved.
