DUI Accident on Meridian Street Left One Dead

PUYALLUP, WA (December 1, 2021) – One unidentified person died Sunday morning after a DUI accident on Meridian Street.

The incident took place just before 4:45 a.m. on South Meridian near 31st Avenue.

According to reports, the suspected drunk driver took off the road and struck the pedestrian. Tragically, the pedestrian died at the scene due to their injuries sustained.

Meanwhile, officials did not get a description of the suspect or the vehicle.

At this time, authorities continues to search for the driver of DUI but have not released further information. Once available, more details will be provided.
