19-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Crash near Martin Street
PORTERVILLE, CA (September 9, 2022) – Late Monday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Highway 190.
The incident happened around 11:40 p.m., near Martin Street on August 8th.
As per reports, officials responded to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. Although, the events leading up to the accident remain unknown.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and located a 19-year-old man suffering from serious injuries in the roadway. Medical personnel later pronounced the male victim dead at the scene.
Crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed and cooperated with the investigation.
