Peak Path Health was founded on the belief that recovery should be approached with the same care, intention, and discretion expected in other areas of a high-performing life. Located in the Hollywood Hills, the luxury addiction and mental health treatment center serves individuals who often appear successful on the surface yet privately struggle with burnout, addiction, self-medication, and emotional exhaustion.

According to Glynis Franz, co-founder and Director of Marketing and Business Development, the center was intentionally designed by people who understood recovery from the inside. “When someone struggles, it’s often framed as a personal failure rather than a human experience,” she explains. “Our culture glorifies self-control and hides vulnerability.”

Peak Path Health was created by founders in long-term recovery who had previously moved through treatment systems that felt impersonal or transactional. From their perspective, the absence of dignity, privacy, and continuity often undermined meaningful progress. That lived experience shaped a program intended to meet people without judgment while holding a clear standard of care.

The organization’s approach centers on the idea that recovery extends beyond abstinence. According to co-founder and Executive Director, Brad Silver, Peak Path Health focuses on revitalizing mind, body, and spirit through a structured, outcomes-oriented model that integrates advanced neuropsychological diagnostics with evidence-based and holistic therapies. Peak Path Health integrates elevated creative therapies into the healing journey, including intimate music nights featuring live performances by Hollywood artists and musicians, stand-up comedy evenings that reintroduce levity and connection, and guided art therapy designed to help patients process, express, and rediscover joy through creativity. “The program emphasizes what we refer to as the PEAK framework: presence, elevation, alignment, and keystone, principles intended to support sustainable change,” Silver explains.

Clients often arrive carrying the weight of long hours, decision fatigue, chronic stress, and pressure to perform. From the perspective of the co-founder and Director of Operations, Dustin Kerr, many have spent years managing responsibility while quietly relying on substances or behaviors to cope. He notes that Peak Path Health was built to address those realities without stripping people of autonomy or identity.

“The physical environment plays a deliberate role in that process,” Franz notes. “Rather than an institutional setting, Peak Path Health operates a small-census model across multiple private residences, each housing a limited number of clients.” She explains that all rooms include private suites and bathrooms, a design choice intended to restore dignity and reduce stigma, particularly for individuals in the public eye.

“Luxury can make you comfortable,” Franz says. “Peak Path Health exists to help people feel well, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.” Privacy, she adds, is not treated as a perk but as a clinical necessity for trust and engagement.

Clinical care includes medically supervised detox, residential treatment, and support for co-occurring disorders. According to Franz, services are delivered by a multidisciplinary staff that includes a medical director, nurse practitioners, licensed clinicians, and therapists trained in multiple psychotherapeutic and somatic modalities. Holistic therapies are incorporated to support nervous system regulation and long-term stability.

The co-founder and Director of Alumni and Family Services, David Duvivier, explains that recovery is viewed as an ongoing process rather than a single event. “Typical stays last approximately 30 days, supported by a high staff-to-client ratio and structured aftercare planning designed to help clients reintegrate without losing momentum,” he says.

For the founders and staff, the work is deeply personal. Franz explains the organization’s focus as deliberately outcome-oriented rather than cyclical. “We are not interested in repeat stays,” she says. “The goal is for people to leave with the tools and stability to move forward.”

At its core, Peak Path Health approaches recovery as a structured return to agency, supporting individuals as they rebuild stability, clarity, and self-trust in demanding lives. Franz explains the goal succinctly: “Recovery is not about stepping away from life. It’s about learning how to stay present in it.”
