In the Department of Please Say It Ain't So we have the news of the arrest of famed Malibu artist Paul Rusconi, known for his photo-based images of celebrities.

He was arrested, no less, a coupled days before Fathers Day on suspicion of molesting his 20-month-old twin daughters.

It's not clear what information triggered the arrest. But the 45-year-old was booked on suspicion of …

… lewd acts upon a minor and possession of child pornography.

He spent the night in jail and was released last night after posting bail, which had been set at $220,000.

Deputies came to his home in the 5800 bock of Bonsall Drive Friday afternoon, L.A. County Sheriff's officials said.

His digital screenprints of pop culture icons, from Tom Cruise to pro skateboarders, appear to fetch four and five figure prices at auction.

Rusconi even once created an installation for the Beverly Hills Chanel store.
