61-Year-Old Bicyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Friant Road

FRESNO, CA (January 19, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, 61-year-old Paul Moore was killed in a bicycle accident on Audubon Drive.

According to police, the crash occurred sometime after 1:30 p.m., in the area of Audubon Drive and Friant Road in northeast Fresno.

Per reports, the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup-truck had was heading south on Friant and turned west on Audobon. There, the Dodge driver hit Moore on his bicycle as he was traveling away from Woodward Park.

Due to the impact of the collision, responding medics pronounced Moore of Fresno, dead at the scene.

In addition, the pickup-truck driver remained on site and cooperated with authorities. Although, their name or place of residency has not been released.

At this time, police are still investigating the bicycle crash and have yet to determine if drugs or alcohol were a factor. More information will be provided once made available.
