Online children’s clothing store PatPat on Wednesday launched Go-Neat, an eco-friendly techwear line that has water-repellent and stain-resistant properties, allowing consumers to “wash less, wear more.”

The self-cleaning and water-repellent qualities of Go-Neat are based on the principle of the lotus effect: due to the surface tension of lotus leaves, water droplets that come into contact with the plant form spherical beads and simply roll off, leaving the surface dry. As the water beads roll

off, they also collect contaminants like solid particles, organism liquids, and biological pollutants, removing them from the surface.

PatPat’s quality control team has tested Go-Neat for its resistance to juices, coffee, dairy products, and other beverages, concluding that “children can play freely in Go-Neat without their parents worrying about heavy washing duty.”

Go-Neat is available to all age categories, so adults can reap the benefits of its versatility, too. The techwear line covers T-shirts, shorts, baby rompers, dresses, and more. Prices for Go-Neat range from $8.99 to $20.99.

Sorona fabric, a comfort knitwear and woven material developed by DuPont Industrial Biosciences and used in Go-Neat, contributes to the durability of PatPat’s techwear line. In addition to being stain-resistant and quick-drying, Sorona maintains its shape and color even after repeated stretches and washes.

The release of Go-Neat advances PatPat’s goal to create fashionable, functional children’s clothes that moms can afford. According to PatPat’s website, the PatPat shopping app offers the “latest, high-quality essentials at share-worthy prices up to 90% off.” The brand has created licensed character series based on popular shows, such as “PAW Patrol” and “Peppa Pig,” to keep up with current kids’ fashion trends. Moving forward, PatPat plans on releasing a new product line every month, focusing on consumer-oriented innovations that are accessible to all.
