Pat Benatar will be All Fired Up in the OC: Rock belter Pat Benatar and her longtime partner Neil Giraldo aren’t performing “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” anymore – they feel it’s inappropriate following the ongoing school shooting crisis. But her setlist is still phenomenal, and she also has Ann Wilson of Heart on the bill.

Pat Benatar’s staggering vocals and take-no-prisoners attitude, along with Neil Giraldo’s trailblazing artistry as a guitarist, producer and songwriter, forged the undeniable chemistry and unique sound that created some of rock’s most memorable hits including ‘We Belong,’ ‘Invincible,’ ‘Love Is A Battlefield,’ ‘Promises In the Dark,’ ‘We Live For Love,’ ‘Heartbreaker’ and ‘Hell Is For Children,’ reads the OC Fair’s press release.

Meanwhile, Heart’s Ann Wilson will be opening this Pacific Amphitheatre show, and half a Heart still beats hard.

“Wilson’s latest album, Fierce Bliss, offers universally entertaining, engaging, honest and safe harbor from these unpredictable times,” reads that OC Fair release. “It is classic rock comfort food of the finest ingredients. One of the premier hard rock vocalists of all-time, Wilson smashed boundaries with her band Heart, the eight-times platinum, 35 million-plus selling Rock and Roll Hall of Fame trailblazers who formed in 1973.”

Pat Benatar will be All Fired Up in the OC: 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31 at the Pacific Amphitheatre, $45, pacamp.com
