Weiser Family Farms is in need, and Pasadena chefs are turning out to help. You can too.

Emily Rico, the 2-year-old daughter of one of the farm's workers, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma just a few months ago. It's a nerve cancer in her stomach painful enough to keep her from playing with other kids.

In order to raise money for a much needed procedure, Maxwell House, typically a wedding venue, will host a multi-course fundraising dinner on Wednesday, February 2nd featuring dishes by some of the area's chefs. Participating restaurants include Noir Food and Wine, Cloud & Company Catering, Quadruppel Restaurant, Japon Bistro and a surprise lineup of desserts.

Tickets are $75 and include wine pairings. All proceeds benefit Emily Rico's family. Weiser Farms is donating the produce. RSVP to Noir chef Claud Beltran, who is hosting the event, at claud.beltran@gmail.com.
