EDM alert! Major electronic DJs take over huge venues in L.A. this weekend, giving electronic dance music fans much to be thankful for before the holidays. Three of them happen to be on Saturday, and while you can’t do all at once, each has a unique style and vibe, from pop-friendly to house-heavy. Take your pick and prepare to get sweaty on the dance floor.

Alesso at the Shrine: This Swedish Def Jam artist is all the buzz thanks to his shimmering, vocal-driven new anthem “Heroes” (no Bowie connection). The rest of his music is full of soaring and grand hooks.

Gareth Emery at the Palladium: Emery will do a five-hour set featuring tracks off his hit release, Drive, plus older ravey faves, blending house rhythms and trance tempos.

Wolfgang Gartner at Avalon: The producer/DJ always rages with his Hollywood DJ sets, but when he’s got some new material to pump, expect things to get downright divine. His latest is called “Unholy” for a reason.
