Goretober gets under way early in downtown L.A. as the city’s best makeup artists and stylish, dark-minded souls take part in this fleshy, freaky fete and spectacle. There should be plenty for the eyeballs to feast on, too, as the catwalk becomes a zombie walk with hordes of undead in bloody, head-to-toe looks.

Rounding out the ravenous rager will be a Creature Art Exhibit and Mad Max–style art cars from film-in-progress The Zombie Patrol. Also on hand: a photo booth by Snap Yourself, performance art by Dangerous D and live music from Surgeon Marta.

Voracious vendors include Girls and Corpses magazine, Kreepsville 666, Monster-a-Go-Go, Sour Girls Dolls and more. They also promise free, all-you-can-eat brains (OK, pancakes).

The actual fashion and design showcased at this one might be unusual, but we can guarantee it’ll be to die for.

LOT 613, 613 Imperial St., downtown; Sat., Oct. 3, 8 p.m.-2 a.m.; $10, 21+, zombiefashionshow.com.
