Whether you're single, in a relationship or, well, it's complicated, Valentine's Day can be brutal. But instead of succumbing to the pressure of what (or who) to do this Friday, why not grab a few friends and hit up one of these guaranteed-to-be-sexy events?

In Hollywood, the go-to shindig is Angelyne's Love Party. The billboard queen and Hollywood legend hosts a bodacious bacchanal featuring burlesque performances, live music, a photo booth and pole dancers, with DJ Paul V pumping up the main dance room. Rock & roll DJs (including yours truly) will take turns in the lounge, with the Poubelle Twins (and Angelyne herself) “slapping booth” and much more.

Meanwhile, downtown, 333 LIVE hosts Studio 69's Love & Lust Ball. Cupids and freaks will descend upon this wicked black-lit affair, where the color white is anything but virginal. White and red are actually the dress code – the skimpier your ensemble, the better. DJs, dancing, photo booths, fire performers, stilt walkers, body painting, kinky play areas, a massage lounge, live art and more will add to the fun.
