LOS GLOBOS
3040 Sunset Blvd.,? Silver Lake, Fri., May 2, 10 p.m.-3 a.m. , $15 advance/$20 door, 18+

After a three-month hiatus, Das Bunker is bringing the dark side of dance clubbing to a new home: Los Globos. Its most popular party of the year (with goths, ravers and the entire after-dark galaxy) marks the new hope: Star Wars Night. This one is the stuff of legend, a cosmic spectacle meshing intergalactic mayhem, hard beats and crazed cosplay.

For its return, Das Bunker will take up all of Los Globos' rooms and levels. The “Death Star Space Battle” will have pounding beats and driving modern EBM and industrial dance by DJs Trauma and Franck H-Bomb. The “Imperial Generator Base” offers an audiovisual assault of classic EBM and retro industrial with DJs Pure Ground (J. Short & G. Holger) and Rev. John. Vader's Meditation Chamber will be a serene place to “connect with the Force” (not!): It's actually the club's infamous noise room, featuring loud, distorted, chaotic techno, courtesy of DJs Silent Servant and The Operative. Other Jedi-worthy amusements planned: Star Wars – themed cocktails, Imperial Trooper security detail, slave Leia go-go dancers and more.
