From punk rarities to pop art oddities, Lethal Amounts store and gallery has hosted some epic art shows and exhibits. It’s about time it takes the musical mayhem and luminary guest list it gets for each opening and transfers it all to a club environment.

Pure Trash at the nearby Monty Bar features rock and punk legends on the decks each week, spinning garage, glam, punk and junk. The opening night had art-punk princess Lydia Lunch on the decks (after a rare live performance at the gallery), and last week Circle Jerks/Black Flag/Off! head Keith Morris brought his wild wax to the shindig. This Friday, none other than Blondie drummer Clem Burke will be in the flesh behind the decks, making everybody eat to the beat with rapturous rhythms and atomic grooves.
