Celebrating the bombshell inside (and outside) women of all shapes and sizes, Pinup Girl Boutique in Burbank has garnered a near-obsessive following of female fashionistas with a love for retro sex appeal. Its stuff can go from vampy and dangerously curvy to sweet and ladylike. The latest is a little bit of both, mixed with some colorful prints to amp it all up.

Pinup Girl (PUG for short) celebrates the release of its new “Magic of Mary Blair” collection with one of its swinging, bubbly-and–cake-ball–filled soirees on Saturday afternoon in the store. The new line will be sale-priced, as will the “Fairytale Fantasy” collection, exclusive art and jewelry pieces created by Stephanie Buscema and specialty Mary Blair items.

In fact, the whole store will be 10 percent off, all in preparation for the glamorous girl-gaggle fest known as Pinup Parade in the Park at Disneyland the next day. The PUG parade, by the way, is one of the theme park’s biggest and most bodacious unofficial fan gatherings of the year.
