This Saturday, three retro-themed events earn our spotlight. As luck would have it, each happens at a different time, so you can hit all three in succession.

Start your day having some fun under the warm California sun at Goodie Tu-Shoes, which continues its daytime series with a tribute To the Ramones at the Standard downtown beginning at 1 p.m. The party features live cover band the Gabba Heys as well as DJs — but in this weather, probably best to leave the leather jackets at home, punkers.

Later, check out WHAM! The Boys Behind the Shorts, a new musical/dance party that tells the torrid tale of George Michael's love for his '80s bandmate, Andrew Ridgley … and how that slut Boy George got in the way! It all goes down at Spirit Studio in Silver Lake beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Finally, get your '80s goth on at Shadowplay, a new event from the people behind Club Underground, hosted by Grand Star Jazz Club in Chinatown. Show your Peter Murphy or ComicCon stubs for free entrance, beginning at 9 p.m.
