A wild, kandi-licious rave right in the middle of Hollywood? It can happen, and has been happening for the past three years at the somewhat austere yet stalwart danceteria Florentine Gardens.

The Gardens might have seen better days, but it brightens up (literally) when the annual Electronic Fantasy Festival takes over. The third annual EDM event, which touts itself as a “mini massive,” features two stages with multiple DJs spinning hardcore, hardstyle, big room, house, electro, trance, psytrance, drum & bass, dubstep and trap.

Headliners include such techy talents as U.K. hard dance producer Gammer, David Christophere of local techno/progressive house duo Rabbit in the Moon, and Denver’s DJ Evenflo, who plays U.K.-style hard house. Los Angeles “local superstar” DJs include F3tto, D-Morse, Skruffeh, Kinetick, Andrew Lee, Moses Bass, DJ iTEM 7 and more. Colorful costumes, rave attire and glow sticks are all encouraged.

FLORENTINE GARDENS
