Gary Richards might be best known as the founder of HARD events, but he's always been an accomplished DJ (he goes by Destructo) and producer in his own right as well. Last year's Higher EP (on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint) lived up to its name and soared on the EDM charts. Even more importantly, it exploded within the rave scene and the thumping dance clubs for which it was made.

Richards is touring with U.K. producer Alex Metric; the duo offers a relentless, highly rhythmic double whammy wherever they lay their decks. The final stop of the tour (which included the HARD-produced, three-day electronic music cruise HOLY SHIP!) happens this week right here in L.A., and the setting at Exchange should provide a fitting change of pace for the pair. We love looking down on the dance floor from the second level, but the hardcore hordes surely won't be leaving the floor even for that.
