Shannon Chromegirl is one of the club scene's most recognizable personalities. Calling this ferocious fembot a go-go dancer just doesn't cut it! Last month, the mohawked party maven, known for dancing and dressing up events as diverse as Bar Sinister and Studio 69, took her ebullience in an exciting new direction: her own club. Her Club Chrome nights are exactly what you'd expect from the punky first-time promoter (and cohorts Basil Nestor and Kendra Cryan): LEDs everywhere, futuristic fashion, electro and goth sounds courtesy of DJ Cyber Slutz, DJ Corpse Toe and DJ John C.
Tonight her chrome dome dance party celebrates the hotness of 'hawks both faux and mo'. Costumes are encouraged, but even if you don't look as brilliant as your hostess, rest assured, this is a party to get up and glow for. There will be a sci-fi-themed art exhibit, free glow jewelry, a photo booth and “mohawk” cupcakes. Official after-party at Doomie's Home Cookin,' Hollywood's vampiest vegan cafe.
