The LAPD and other agencies are on druntard patrol, and they've even let us know where they'll be:
-Tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. the LAPD has a DUI checkpoint at Manchester Avenue between Hoover and Figueroa streets in South L.A.
-Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. there will be an LAPD DUI checkpoint at Figueroa and Ninth streets downtown.
-Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. there will be a DUI “saturation patrol” in the LAPD's Mission Division patrol area (PDF).
-Saturday the Beverly Hills Police Department will host a DUI checkpoint on La Cienega Boulevard at Gregory Way, according to Twitter's @BHScanner.
[Added at 5:12 p.m.]:
-Saturday from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. in west Long Beach, says the Long Beach Police Department.
–
-Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. the LAPD will be conducting a drunk patrol in the department's Hollenbeck Division area, which includes Boyle Heights and surrounding neighborhoods (PDF map).
