18-Year-Old Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Adamson Flat

MALIBU, CA (January 26, 2022)Parker Sweet died Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Malibu Canyon Road, authorities said.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 12:15 a.m., in the 2000 block of Malibu Canyon Road.

With circumstances leading up are still unclear, CHP says several cars were involved in the incident that ended up taking the life of 18-year-old Sweet, who died at the scene.

Authorities closed the area for several hours for clean up and investigation purposes.

As the investigation is still ongoing, authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact police.
