59-Year-Old Woman Killed, Parker Sullivan Hurt in Wrong-Way Collision in Meadow Vista

MEADOW VISTA, CA (March 30, 2021) – Friday morning, Parker Sullivan was injured in a deadly head-on accident on Placer Hills Road.

According to the CHP, the crash occurred around 6:05 a.m. Emergency crews arrived shortly after being dispatched to the scene.

Per reports, Sullivan was driving a northbound Subaru when he drifted into the opposite lane in front of a southbound Ford. There, the two vehicles collided.

As a result, the Ford veered off the road and flipped into a dirt embankment. The 59-year-old woman was the only occupant of the Ford.

Due to the impact of the crash, the woman involved was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported Sullivan to a local hospital with moderate injuries.

The surrounding area was closed for two hours during investigation. But, the roadway has since reopened to traffic. Authorities do not currently believe that drugs or alcohol were factors. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
