Yeah, remember when I said the coke wasn't mine? Nevermind that.

That's the story this morning, as Paris Hilton pleaded guilty to misdemeanor cocaine possession and obstructing an officer in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Sun reports Hilton Hilton will be on probation for a year and must complete a drug abuse program, pay a $2,000 fine and serve 200 hours of community service.

Hilton was arrested Aug. 26 with less than a gram of coke spilled out of her purse, which she claimed wasn't hers, in classic seventh grader excuse mode, as in, “I was holding those cigarettes for someone else, mom.”

We're generally pretty live-and-let-live around here, but part of us pines for the days when this sort of thing would bury the likes of someone like Hilton and end her, but she'll probably just get bigger.
