63-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Collision in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ (June 8, 2021) – Wednesday night, 63-year-old Pamela Desoto, was killed in a hit-and-run crash on 16th Street in Phoenix.

The incident took place just before 8:30 p.m., near 16th Street and Broadway Road. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after.

According to the authorities, Desoto was walking in a crosswalk when he was suddenly struck by a driver who was driving along Broadway Road. Following the impact, the driver fled the scene.

The suspect vehicle was described as a dark-colored vehicle. Callers can stay anonymous and get a reward of up to $1,000 for their efforts.
