Road Warrior Weekend

This weekend, we headed out to the High Desert for Road Warrior Weekend, a one-time-only Mad Max event that combined elements of fandom conventions and Burning Man-styled desert parties. Swedish trio Peter, Bjorn & John celebrated their tenth anniversary Saturday night at Club Nokia and Drew Tewksbury was there to ponder the fate of the band known for “the best whistle-based song* (probably) ever, 'Young Folks.'” Read his review “Sweden's Peter, Bjorn, and John Get Icy at Club Nokia.”
