Hollywood Forever celebrated Dia de los Muertos a week early with its annual event featuring traditional Aztec rituals, art displays, an altar decorating competition and a concert from Lila Downs. Colin and David Young-Wolff were there to capture the images.

LA-based magazine Giant Robot celebrates its fifteenth anniversary with a massive exhibit at Japanese American National Museum showcasing the cutting edge artists it has championed over the years. Take a peek at the event before you head down to the museum.
