On Saturday, the Dr. Susan Block Institute for Erotic Arts and Sciences celebrated Eros Day X and Barack Obama's inauguration with an “Orgy for Obama” party in downtown L.A. In addition to honoring Eros, the god of love, lust and life, Block described the event as, “Celebrating hope for a new era of peace-through-pleasure politics and an end to anti-sex militarism in America and around the world, at the climax of a week of balls honoring the historic presidential inauguration of Barack Obama.” Click the image for a slideshow of the orgiastic festivities and read Patrick Range McDonald's feature, “Shutting Down Public-Access TV,” which includes sexologist Dr. Susan Block as a member of the public-access community against city-government censorship.
