What could be more rousingly chaotic than the slamming pounders of Stomp? How about the Lost & Found Orchestra of Pandemonium? Stomp creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas present their latest theatrical onslaught, which “reinvents the concept of a symphony orchestra section by section … by transforming everyday objects into a plethora of invented instruments, such as the Bed Bass that is a steel folding bed with strings with a two-octave range and the Squonkaphone, a relative to the saxophone made with plumbing tubes and balloons.” Bottles, whirly toys, traffic cones, oil drums, wood planks, glasses, bellows, even filing cabinets create the artful din. After smashing — literally! — runs in Sydney and London, the one-of-a-kind ork hits town for four performances. What's next — Rabid Mayhem? Armegeddon outta here!
