Man Arrested after Two-Vehicle DUI Collision near Corning

TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (February 2, 2022) – Police arrested Oswaldo Moreno Zabala after a suspected DUI crash on Highway 99 West and Gyle Road.

According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:00 p.m., just north of Corning.

Furthermore, authorities said Zabala was driving a Camero when his vehicle collided with a Honda Accord. The Honda was driven by George De La Cruz.

The impact did not cause any serious injuries to those involved. Police later arrested Zabala for suspicion of driving under the influence.
