Bin Laden was reportedly shot in the head as his forces resisted a charge by an illusive, elite group of SEALS named Team 6 that was dropped into his Pakistani compound via helicopter.
Susan Enowitz, executive directory of the Coronado Museum of History and Art told us locals were proud of the SEALS' accomplishment.
Another museum official noted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the SEALS and that there might be a special celebration in the San Diego County town if the U.S. Navy allows it.

The members of Team 6 are all “black” operatives. They exist outside military protocol, engage in operations that are at the highest level of classification and often outside the boundaries of international law. To maintain plausible deniability in case they are caught, records of black operations are rarely, if ever, kept.
Bin Laden was killed in a compound in the large city of Abbottabad, after U.S. intelligence had been tracking one of his couriers for months. Looks like he was hiding in plain sight.
