Nintendo, Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts, and Ubisoft: there are some of the top video game companies in the world. Other familiar companies have also thrown their hat into the ring when it comes to the video game industry, including Sony, Apple, Microsoft, and Google. While these are the biggest names in the gaming world, there are also some smaller companies that are working just as hard. One of these companies is the up-and-coming OpenLoot.

OpenLoot has yet to release any games, but they’re hard at work creating a foundation to make their debut. World-famous video game designer, producer, and game director Shigeru Miyamoto once said “A delayed game is eventually good. A bad game is bad forever.” As one of the top names in Nintendo, his advice is worth listening to. He’s been involved in some of the most famous video game projects in world history: The Legend of Zelda, Mario Bros., and Donkey Kong. If a game truly isn’t ready to be released, it’s worth waiting until it is. Many people may be frustrating about waiting, but first impressions are everything. No one wants to play a low-qualirty game, and your hard work will be for naught. This is the approach OpenLoot is taking.

While their Twitter is notably lacking content, they did give their 4 followers a hint about the direction they’re going in. OpenLoot’s account retweeted a post by Big Time, a multiplayer action RPG that is soaring in popularity. This connection is promising and demonstrates that there is a potential collaboration in the future.
