15-Year-Old Injured in Auto Collision near Hoover High School
FRESNO, CA (October 10, 2022) – Tuesday evening, a pedestrian accident at Hoover High School left one teen hospitalized.
The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m., when a vehicle struck a student attempting to cross the street next to Hoover High School.
According to the police, the involved driver immediately left the scene, but then called the police 20 minutes later to report the incident.
Responding medical personnel took the 15-year-old to Community Regional Medical Center, where he remains in a critical condition.
At this time, police believed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
