Male Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on 35th Avenue near Camelback Road

PHOENIX, AZ (February 13, 2023) – Late Tuesday night, one victim was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on 35th Avenue.

The incident happened on February 7th, involving a motorcyclist and an SUV.

According to Phoenix police, officers arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist several feet away from his motorcycle.

Consequently, the rider was transported immediately to a nearby hospital just before midnight. The rider, unfortunately, did not survive and he was pronounced dead.

Investigation showed that the rider was heading south on 35th Avenue while the SUV was turning left on private property.

Furthermore, the SUV driver remained at the scene and he was assessed by responding authorities. The driver was found with no signs of impairment.

At this time, the identity of the rider has not been released. An active investigation is currently in progress.
