Highway 99 Pedestrian Crash Left One Fatality

TURLOCK, CA (November 29, 2021) – Police are investigating a pedestrian crash on Highway 99 that left one person dead Sunday afternoon.

The fatal incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. along the southbound lanes of Highway 99 at the west Taylor Road off-ramp.

According to the CHP, a white Cadillac sedan struck a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, the officers located the vehicle in the center divide and the injured person lying on the roadside.

Unfortunately, the injured pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

At this time, Turlock officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the Highway 99 pedestrian crash.
