Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Collision on Broadway

EUREKA, CA (October 28, 2021) A pedestrian crash on West Hawthorne Street left one person injured last Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of West Hawthorne Street and Broadway. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Upon arrival, the first responders transported one pedestrian to a local hospital for an ankle/foot injury.

The surrounding area was closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.

At this time, Eureka officials are working to investigate the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
