Pedestrian Crash near Phelps Street Left Elderly Man Killed

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 8, 2021) – A pedestrian crash near Phelps Street claimed the life of an elderly man Monday morning.

Officers responded to the incident shortly before 6 a.m. at the area of Phelps Street and Fairfax Avenue.

Upon arrival, paramedics discovered the victim lying in the roadway.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Later on, San Francisco Officials identified the deceased pedestrian as a man in his 80’s.

An active investigation is currently underway.
