Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on La Costa Avenue

ENCINITAS, CA (March 22, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on North Coast Highway 101 claimed the life of one rider, Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, the incident happened around 3:50 p.m., on March 17th. Crews arrived to the scene between La Costa Avenue and Leucadia Boulevard.

Upon arrival, paramedics pronounced the unidentified rider dead at the scene. However, the events leading up to the deadly accident remain unclear.
