Vehicle Crash on Interstate 40 Left One Fatality

WINONA, AZ (December 28, 2021) – A vehicle collision on Interstate 40 claimed the life of one person Sunday afternoon.

According to authorities, the collision occurred east of Winona, near Two Guns.

Furthermore, according to DPS, one individual died in the collision after being ejected in the crash.

Moreover, authorities have yet to identify the name of the victim.

Meanwhile, following a fatal incident in Coconino County, drivers on Interstate 10’s westbound lanes were stuck in major traffic congestion.

Eventually, one of the lanes reopened around 7 p.m.

An active investigation is still underway.
