1 Dead after Motorcycle Accident near 110 Freeway in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 17, 2022) On Wednesday, an unidentified person dies after a two-vehicle collision on Vermont Square.

The deadly crash occurred around 4:00 p.m., on February 9th. Crews arrived in the Vermont Square near the 110 Freeway.

Officers immediately located one person deceased at the scene. Although the events leading to the crash remain unknown, police said the collision involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.

At this time, officials have not yet identified whether the deceased victim was the driver of the vehicle or the person riding the motorcycle.

Paramedics also took another person injured from the crash to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Officials have not released the name, age, or city of residence of the parties involved. Authorities temporarily blocked the affected areas in order to secure and investigate the crash.

An active investigation is underway and police will release further information once available.
