VICTORVILLE, CA (August 16, 2022) – Late Thursday night, one person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 395.

The incident happened on August 11th, at about 11:04 p.m., near La Mesa Road.

According to reports, two vehicles were traveling northbound on the highway when one vehicle broadsided another. The two vehicles were described as a red Hyundai and a blue Infiniti.

The impact of the collision left three people with major injuries. Upon arrival, emergency crews rendered aid and transported two victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one unidentified victim dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, multiple lanes on Highway 395 were shut down for several hours between Luna Road and Bear Valley Road until 4:00 a.m. Once available, further details will be provided.
