Train Accident on Eighth Street Left One Dead

BANNING, CA (January 24, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one person was fatally struck in a deadly train accident on Eighth Street.

The fatal crash took place near the intersection of Eighth and Lincoln Street, around 5:05 a.m. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

For still unknown circumstances, the train struck and killed an individual. Authorities responded to the scene and discovered the lifeless body of the victim.

At this time, officers have not released the name or age of the victim.
