Victim Pronounced Dead after Rollover Accident near Hart Park

BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 10, 2022) – A deadly rollover crash on Alfred Harrell Highway took the life of one person, Sunday evening.

According to reports, the incident happened around 8:10 p.m., near Hart Park. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

For reasons unknown, the driver of a vehicle lost control. As a result, the vehicle rolled over and landed in a nearby ditch off the road.

Due to the impact of the collision, one person succumbed to their injuries and another sustained injuries after being ejected from the vehicle.

At this time, the total number of people involved in the incident remains unclear. Bakersfield Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
