Plane Crash near Minter Field Left One Fatality

SHAFTER, CA (November 8, 2021) – A fiery plane crash near Minter Field claimed the life of a pilot Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. when a crop dusting aircraft crashed about a quarter mile away from Shafter airport, just northwest of Minter Field.

In addition, investigators pointed out that at the time, the weather conditions were partly cloudy with some light fog.

According to the authorities, the aircraft belonged to a local crop dusting company named Inland Aviation.

At this time, the Kern County Officials are working to identify the circumstances and details surrounding the Shafter plane crash.
