Pedestrian Crash on Rodriguez Street Left Unidentified Woman Dead

WATSONVILLE, CA (December 17, 2021) – On Friday, a woman died following a pedestrian crash on Rodriguez Street.

The accident occurred around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Rodriguez and West Beach streets.

According to the CHP, the victim, who was just crossing the street at the intersection, was hit by a Ford F-250 truck. Responding cops declared the victim dead on the scene.

Meanwhile, the F-250’s driver remained and cooperated with authorities.

At this time, the identity of the victim remains withheld pending notification of their next of kin.

Watsonville police are still investigating the crash and will give updates once available.
