Pedestrian Crash near Lindo Park Elementary School Left One Woman Dead

LAKESIDE, CA (February 23, 2022) – On Thursday, a pedestrian crash on Pino Drive claimed the life of one woman.

The initial report said that the crash happened around 6:45 a.m on Pino Drive near Lindo Lane.

Furthermore according to authorities, a Honda Accord driven by a 37-year-old man, heading north on Pino Drive near the Lindo Park Elementary School, struck a pedestrian.

Moreover according to the CHP, a juvenile was inside the vehicle when the collision happened but their identity has not been released.

Consequently, the 77-year-old pedestrian succumbed to her injuries later at the hospital.

Both directions of the roadway were shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. However; an active investigation remains ongoing.
