Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 15 Left One Fatality

FONTANA, CA (December 30, 2021) – A pedestrian crash on Interstate 15 left one person killed Thursday afternoon.

The fatal incident occurred around 3:09 p.m. at southbound 15 Freeway, north of Duncan Canyon Road.

According to the CHP, a black Chrysler 300 spun out of control and collided with the pedestrian.

In addition, witnesses pointed out that the crash happened while the pedestrian is standing outside of a white Mercedes Benz.

Unfortunately, the first responders declared the victim dead at the scene.

At this time, the San Bernardino County Coroner is working to identify the pedestrian.

Fontana Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
