Truck Crash on Alvarado Canyon Road Left One Fatality

SAN DIEGO, CA (February 23, 2022) – A pedestrian crash on Alvarado Canyon Road claimed the life of one woman Monday evening.

According to the police, the crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. in the 4600 block of Alvarado Canyon Road.

Furthermore the investigators said that a passenger-side mirror of a U-Haul truck, driven by a 65-year-old woman, hit a female pedestrian.

Consequently, the first responders declared the woman deceased at the scene.

Sections of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Meanwhile, at this time, San Diego Officials are investigating the Grantville pedestrian crash.
