Man Pronounced Dead after Vehicle vs Pedestrian Crash along Chapman Avenue

ORANGE, CA (April 15, 2022) – One man was killed in a pedestrian collision on Chapman Avenue, Sunday night.

Around 8:17 p.m., the crash occurred in the 1500 block of West Chapman Avenue. The female driver of a Dodge minivan, struck a man who was in the number three lane.

Eventually, paramedics arrived and pronounced the unidentified man dead at the scene. Moreover, the involved driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities.

At this time, no additional information has been made available, however officials stated that alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the incident.

Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were shutdown temporarily to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties. The fatal pedestrian collision remains under active investigation.
